Elvas Plums. Each autumn in Portugal, special Estremoz plums are harvested and preserved in sugar, leaving them sweet and succulent. A traditional Portuguese speciality, they are presented in a handmade box. Particularly good served with aperitifs or after-dinner liqueurs.
